I love the idea of a statue of a fool.

Ricky van Shelton is a former British rocker, musician, and actor who famously lived out his days in a nursing home, until he was discovered by the media and given a brand new life. He was also the director of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, and this statue is his tribute to that career. Though I don’t think the statue would be the same without the musician’s rocker persona, it still fits the idea of a fool to me.

I love the idea of a statue of a fool. The Royal Academy should have a statue of Dick Van Dyke.
